More than 50 people gathered last Friday the 9th of November to attend the NCID Workshop on Urban Issues in Developing Countries. The event had presentations of three experts on different fields of urbanism: technology and artificial intelligence, theoretical and construction approach and finally a cartography approach joined with community participation.

4th NCID Development Week
The first day of the IV Development Week, organized by the NCID of the University of Navarra, focused on issues related to Human Capital in developing countries from a microeconomic perspective. Studies carried out in china, Mexico, India, Ecuador and Macedoinia among others were presented. This event took place June 1st and 2nd at the IESE Business School in Madrid.

Jean-Louis Arcand, Director of the Centre for Finance and Development at the Geneva Graduate Institute, presented his newest research "Guns, Germs, and Slave: an Alternative View of the Colonial Origins of Comparative Development" as part of the Opening Session of the III Annual Development Week at the Institute for Culture and Society, University of Navarra.
2nd NCID Development Week
The Development Week is an international summer gathering between postgraduate students, academics and professionals specialized in Development. The first edition of this event was held in the University of Navarra on 2012 and since then it has gained in momentum and in international participation.
1st NCID Development Week
The I Development Week was held from the 4th to the 8th of June of 2012 at the University of Navarra in Pamplona. It gathered researchers such as Prof. Robert Mudida from Strathmore University in Nairobi; Prof. Pedro Vicente from the NOVA Business School in Lisbon and Prof. Prakarsh Singh.
