1st NCID Workshop on Migration

The 1st NCID Workshop on Migration will bring together five experts to offer an academic overview of this issue. While migrants represent 3.5% of the global population, there is still much to learn on the factors driving migration, the hurdles such as lack of skill transferability that migrants face, and the type of policies that could allow for assimilation in host countries. This is especially important in recent years, as forced migration has grown faster than voluntary migration.

The event will take place on November 11, 2019 at Aula ICS in the University of Navarra. The tentative schedule is as follows:

09:00-09:10: Registration

09:10-09:15: Opening Session, by Luis Ravina, NCID Director.

9:15-9:45: Presentation of the Center for Mediterranean Integration, by Blanca Moreno-Dodson, CMI Director
