Sergio Daga is a Research Assistant with the Navarra Center for International Development. Prior to joining the NCID he was the chief economist of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Santa Cruz (Bolivia). He has also been a Visiting Senior Policy Analyst for the Washington D.C.-based Heritage Foundation, focusing on Latin America. He has also worked as a research assistant with the CAF-Development Bank of Latin America at its headquarters in Caracas, Venezuela. Sergio holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Chile and a Bachelor degree in economics from the Catholic University of Bolivia. He has taught undergraduate courses on economics in Chilean and Bolivian universities and has published several working papers and book chapters.
