Mariapia Mendola is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Università di Milano-Bicocca. She is also Director of the Poverty and Development Program at Centro Studi Luca d’Agliano, Research Fellow at IZA and CefES. Co-Editor of The B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy. Her main research interests are Development Economics, Household and Population Economics, and Applied Microeconomics. Her recent research work focuses on migration and human capital investment in developing economies. Mariapia was a guest speaker at the NCID Workshop on Migration on November 11.
