The Development Week is an international summer gathering between postgraduate students, academics and professionals specialized in Development. The first edition of this event was held in the University of Navarra on 2012 and since then it has gained in momentum and in international participation. The D-Week offers courses taught by recognized experts in their fields accompanied by different seminars that focus on the current economic and political situations of different geographical areas.
The 2nd Development Week will be held in Pamplona at the University of Navarra on June 3-7, 2013. This event will offer a course in the Causes and Consequences of Civil Conflict, as well as different seminars given by recognized experts in their respective fields. The Keynote Speech, to be given by Oded Stark, will address integration and social distress.
The courses are aimed at graduate students specializing in development economics, faculty members, and researchers. During the summer school, faculty members will be available to participants for discussion of research ideas and projects.
