NCID Fellow, Dr. Prakarsh Singh's talk at TEDxAmherstCollege: Child malnutrition in India is very high despite rapid economic growth and also the world's largest early childhood development program. However, motivating childcare workers with performance incentives and empowering mothers with information can bring about an improvement in child health. Child malnutrition is significantly reduced in the short-term and the effect is sustained even after the removal of performance incentives.
