When Coimbatore Krishnarao Prahalad, a distinguished professor at Ross School of Business, started writing his book, he had no idea how grand of an impact his book as going to have on the business world. ;During the time of this publication there as a major transformation in public opinion on poverty issues which were spearheaded by Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus and the creation of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
