Jessica Alfaro talked about her experience working for the Ithala Development Finance Corporation in South Africa. This institution's main goal is to produce economic development in one of the poorest regions of the country, the Province of KwaZulu-Natal. While Alfaro worked for Ithala, she planned and monitored the implementation of development projects in the region. At the same time, Alfaro promoted and assisted the development of the Province’s social, economic, and physical infrastructure.
