Albert Mengual is a research assistant at NCID. He studied Law in Spain and pursued the Certificate in Transnational Law at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). He worked first as an intern and then as a consultant at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. After that, he pursued a fellowship program with the World Youth Alliance in New York, an organization in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. His general research interests are related to the role of international organizations in development as well as to democracy standards in developing countries.
