Lucia Corno will present the paper The historical roots of Female Genital Cutting, which she did with N. Nunn, E. La Ferrara and A. Voena.
Ponente
Lucia is an Assistant Professor of economics at Cattolica University in Milan and Executive Director of the Laboratory for Effective Anti-poverty Policies (LEAP). She is currently on leave from the Queen Mary University of London, where she holds a position of assistant professor.
Her fields of interests are Development Economics, Health Economics, and Public Economics. Most of her research focuses on understanding the constraints for economic development in Africa, combining traditional empirical/theoretical analysis and randomized field experiments.
