"Ghana’s Economy: Challenges and Opportunities"
Resumen
Luis Aragonés provided the group with an in-depth analysis about Ghana’s economy. Ghana's economy has been strengthened by a quarter century of relatively sound management, a competitive business environment, and sustained reductions in poverty levels. Ghana is well endowed with natural resources, such as gold and cocoa. However, President John Dramani Mahama faces challenges in managing new oil revenues while maintaining fiscal discipline and resisting debt accumulation.
