The local office of the Development Program of the United Nations, through ODS TV, has awarded the research proposal of the NCID-CINDERE team against violence in Guatemala. The project consists of evaluating the impact of mass media on indicators of violence. This is a problem of great relevance, since Guatemala has the 13th highest rate of killings in the world with 27.3 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants.
