The Navarra Center for International Development (NCID) has recently included a new Occasional Paper titled "Global Trade Opportunities and Sustainable Development Goals" by Santiago Fernández de Córdoba economist at United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and Non-Resident Fellow of the NCID and, David Vanzetti, visiting fellow at the Australia National University.

The Navarra Center for International Development recently launched a Call for Papers for our 3rd Annual Development Week from June 2-6, 2014. The NCID will consider papers from the fields of Economics, Political Science, and Sociology as they relate to the theme of this year's Congress Africa: A promising future. Research papers may include, but are not limited to, areas such as Macroeconomic Stability, Economics of Innovation, Technology Transfers, Political Instability, Public Policy, Migration, and Education.

The Navarra Center for International Development is now receiving applications for Post-Doctoral fellowship. Applicants are expected to have a doctoral degree in Development Economics, Political Science or Sociology. Those with research experience in the fields of migrations, innovation and technology transfer, and weak institutions are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a commitment to scholarly research and are expected to develop an active research program leading to both scientific publications and successful policy design.
