Non-Resident Fellow of the NCID, Rabah Arezki, Chief of the Commodities Unit in the International Monetary Fund's Research department, has written an article on the iMFdirect blog, the IMF's global economy forum. This blog post explores the state of global food markets and issues of food security. It argues that important inefficiencies impede the well functioning of global food markets and threaten the food security of low income countries that are increasingly dependent of food imports.

The 2016 Global Go To Think Tank Report of the University of Pennsylvania has ranked the Navarra Center for International Development (NCID) as one of the best think tanks in the world for the second consecutive year.

On February 7th, the Navarra Center for International Development organized the Workshop “Climate Risk and Agricultural Insurance in Bolivia†in La Paz, Bolivia.
